During this portion of the trek, we will have magnificent views of the villages, terraces, and the Colca River below. After we reach the river at the bottom, we cross some suspension bridges and then we have the wonderful experience of seeing the small Geyser that is located opposite the river.
At 5 pm we will arrive to the Llahuar Lodge (2,020m) to enjoy the hot springs and admire the impressive landscapes. We will also have opportunity to try trout fishing in the Colca River. At night we will have dinner and sleep in the Lodge’s bungalows made of reeds.

The following morning, we will wake up at 5 am to climb back out of the canyon to Cabanaconde, a small town situated on the rim of the canyon directly above Sangalle. This three hour, 1000 m climb is the most difficult part of the trek. Everyone can climb at their own pace and the group will reunite at the top.
Breakfast will be served in Cabanaconde and the transportation will pick us up afterwards.
