This journey through the majestic canyons, valleys and village of Llahuar of Peru promises an unforgettable experience, immersing you in the rich nature and culture of the region. This 3-day itinerary will take you from the city of Arequipa to the picturesque town of Cabanaconde and beyond.
The first day kicks off early at 3:00 am with hotel pickups in Arequipa. After a 3-hour journey, you’ll arrive in Chivay for a hearty breakfast before continuing to the famous Cruz del Condor.
At 8:30 am, you’ll have the unique opportunity to marvel at the spectacular flight of the condors and the depth of the canyon. The journey proceeds to Cabanaconde, with stops at scenic viewpoints to appreciate the Colca River and charming villages along the way. Following a roughly 4-hour hike, you’ll reach Llahuar to settle into your accommodation and enjoy its pools, followed by dinner at 6:00 pm and a peaceful overnight stay.
Day two takes you to Sangalle, starting with breakfast at 6:00 am. The route to Sangalle allows you to admire various cacti along the way. Upon arriving at Sangalle at 11:30 am, you’ll savor lunch followed by free time to enjoy its pools and the surrounding nature. Dinner is served at 6:30 pm, offering a unique nighttime experience.
Finally, on the third day, you’ll commence your trek back to Cabanaconde at 5:00 am, arriving at 8:30 am for breakfast. The return to Arequipa includes stops at stunning natural viewpoints like Choquetico and Antahuilque, where you can admire enchanting lagoons and litomaquetas. The itinerary culminates with visits to the church and crafts in the district of Maca, thermal baths in Chivay, and panoramic views of volcanoes before returning to Arequipa around 6:00 pm. This journey immerses you in the natural and cultural wonders of Peru’s breathtaking landscape.
03:00 am Pick up from your hotels and then travel for 3 hours
06:30 am arrive at Chivay to have breakfast, then we continue our tour to the Cruz del Condor
8:30 am arrival at the Cruz Del Cóndor, where we will stay 30 min approximately to appreciate the spectacular flight of the condors and the depth of the canyon.
9:15 am we continue our tour towards Cabanaconde.
10:00 am arrival at Cabanaconde to begin our walk towards Llahuar, on the way making stops at the Achachihua viewpoint so that you can appreciate the Colca River and the towns of Tapay, Coshñirgua, Malata, Paylla and Llanca, also on the way we will pass along the Achachigua River, the other stop is plowed to appreciate the geysers, after a walk of approximately 4 hours we will arrive at our destination, we will settle into our accommodation and then be able to enjoy its pools.

06.30 am departure towards Sangalle passing through the town of Paclla on the way we will be able to appreciate different cactus.
11.30 am. Arrival at Sangalle, lunch, then you can enjoy its swimming pools and nature.
6.30 pm dinner overnight
5:00 am start of our walk to Cabanaconde
8:30 am arrival at Cabanaconde to have our breakfast and return to Chivay, making stops at natural viewpoints of Choquetico and Antahuilque where you will see enchanted lagoons and Litomaquetas, then we will visit the district of Maca to appreciate its church and its crafts.
12:30 pm arrival in Chivay, then we will visit the thermal baths, then we will return to Chivay for lunch.
2:00 pm return to Arequipa making stops at the Andes viewpoint (4910m.s.n.m.) where we will appreciate the volcanoes: Hualca-Hualca, Sabancaya, Ampato, Chachani and El Misti, then we will make another stop in Pampas Cañahuas where we will appreciate the vicuñas, flora and fauna of the place.
